Overview

Why is aluminum anodized?

In the air, the aluminum plate will be oxidized after long-term use. Although the natural oxide layer on the surface has a certain passivation effect, but for a long time, the film layer will fall off, be corroded, and the aluminum plate will change color.

In order to overcome this defect, the aluminum plate must be anodized to achieve the desired effect. After anodic oxidation, a dense oxide film is formed on the surface of the aluminum plate. The colorless porous nature of the anodic oxide film is used to stain and protect the aluminum matrix.
